QS Stars Assessment 2024A brighter future for the Swan River
Under the surface of the Swan River thousands of mussels are silently pumping water, to improve the quality and chemistry of this iconic waterway. The research was the first of its kind undertaken in Western Australia, paving the way for more informed estuary conservation efforts across the country. It's just one of the many ways Murdoch University is committed to building a brighter future.
A brighter future for the community
Located on the eastern side of Murdoch University’s Perth campus is a garden, where students, staff and the local community come together to grow and tend to a variety of produce, enjoying the fruits of their labor with regular dinners and social events, even selling some of the produce at the Murdoch University Thursday markets.
A brighter future for all students
At Murdoch University, we believe there is a brightness in everyone, it just needs a place to be ignited, to be kindled and grow. This is why we introduced the Ngala Kwop Biddi Brighter Futures Scholarship, which looks beyond academic merit to those who are making a positive impact on their community. This scholarship helps those who are working to make the future brighter for everyone.
A brighter future for all
There is a brightness inside everyone, it just needs a place to be ignited. And that place is here.
From our research, to our community and our students, Murdoch University is committed to igniting the brightness in everyone, to build a brighter future, together.
