2026 S2 Malka Foundation Entrepreneurship Scholarship (First Nations Category)

In partnership with the Malka foundation, Murdoch University is building pathways to empower and support First Nations students to recognise their entrepreneurial endeavors.

This scholarship has been developed to assist continuing First Nations students to explore or pursue an entrepreneurial endeavour.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

  • A Domestic Student, identifying as First Nations
  • Enrolled in a Business course at Murdoch University
  • Enrolled in at least 6 credit points of study in Semester 2, 2026
  • Have successfully completed 12 credit points of study by the end of Semester 1, 2026
  • Have aspirations or be interested in entrepreneurship and/ or exploring the option for a startup

How to Apply

This scholarship requires you to complete the following:

  • Complete the online application form here and attach required supporting documents listed below.

Required Documents

  • Provide a personal statement of no more than 500 words describing your aspirations or interest in entrepreneurship and/or your progress towards exploring the option for a startup/ startup idea.

Note: Personal circumstances submitted through other forms of evidence will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.


Payment Method

A one-off payment of $5,000 will be made directly into your nominated bank account. Scholarship payment processing will commence in week 7 for semester 2, 2026.

Note: While we endeavour to process and pay all scholarship student payments within week 7 and/or 8 of the respective semester, in some unforeseen circumstances your payment may arrive in your bank account later than week 8. 

 All payments are subject to your acceptance and ongoing compliance with the terms and conditions of the award.
