Myrtle AB Lamb Honours Scholarship
Originally established in 1993, the Myrtle AB Lamb Honours Scholarship aims to assist a student planning to undertake a full-time Honours project researching any aspect of the conservation of Western Australian native flora and fauna.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- be a Domestic Student (includes Australian & NZ Citizens, Permanent Residents, Humanitarian Visas)
- intend to enrol full-time in an honours course that involves research into an aspect of the conservation of Western Australian native flora and fauna.
- have a record of high achievement in previous study and/or in professional work.

This scholarship opens for applications through this Online Application Form on 5 October 2025. You will need your Murdoch Student ID to access this form.

Required Documents
This scholarship requires you to provide the following documents:
- completed application form
- a summary of your intended honours project
- written confirmation from your proposed honours supervisor confirming supervision of your project
- a personal statement of no more than two A4 pages
- a written reference from a person qualified to comment on either your academic studies, or current or past employment.
Payment Method
Payments will be made directly into your nominated bank account in the following instalments:
- $1,250 after the Semester 1 census date;
- $1,250 after the Semester 2 census date; and
- $500 upon the successful submission, and grading of your Honours thesis.
All payments are subject to your ongoing acceptance and compliance with the terms and conditions of the award.
