Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • a resident of the Peel region (that is you reside in areas with the postcode of either 6121; 6122; 6123; 6124; 6125; 6126; 6180; 6181; 6207; 6208; 6209; 6210; 6211; 6213; 6214; 6215; 6390)
  • be enrolled full-time in your first year of any Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Nursing (BNurs) degree
  • be under 21 years of age.

How to Apply

This scholarship opens for applications through this Online Application Form on 5 October 2025. You will need your Murdoch Student ID to access this form.

Required Documents

This scholarship requires you to provide the following:

  • Completed Online Application Form 
  • evidence of living in the Peel Region.
  • a personal statement of no more than 300 words, outlining:
    • your exceptional personal circumstances 
    • any barriers in relation to your study and their impact.
  • one written reference by a person (not related to you) from your local community able to comment on your character and commitment to community. 

Payment Method

Instalments of $1,500 per semester paid in Week 7 or 8 of each semester for a period of 3 years.

All payments are subject to your ongoing acceptance and compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the award.
